Five years ago we embarked on an adventure of sorts, introducing a method of fishing unknown outside of Japan at the time to people interested in fly-fishing. Like in any good adventure we had a good story to share. Little did we know the story of tenkara would captivate so many people and that so many stories and so much knowledge would be learned and shared with a method of fly-fishing that is so simple.
I like to say that our business is as much a story-telling business as a tenkara rod company. We like sharing information about tenkara: instructions, videos, philosophy, you name it. After all, tenkara is who we are.
It was time to create a new website to help us more effectively tell the story and share the content we thought you should see to learn tenkara. With that in mind we set out to build the best tenkara website around. We hope you’ll enjoy the content you’ll find in these pages and that you’ll find our new site intuitive to navigate and a valuable resource.
The new site has a few main pages you’ll find on the <<< left navigation. And, just like the method we’re introducing there, you’ll find there are many more fascinating layers of information below its simple surface. Throughout the site you will also find links that will take you deeper into the tenkara story and on a path to learn everything you ever wish about the method.
