    Description:
Tenkara USA's furled tapered tenkara lines cast easily and with precision, cut through wind, and do not snarl when freed from a snag. These are the easiest lines to cast among our offerings.

Tapered tenkara lines come with a transition loop on the thicker end, which will be girth-hitched to the tip of the tenkara rod. For your convenience, a tippet ring has been added to the end of the line. Tenkara USA lines are hand-woven by expert line-makers in the United States.

Our Tenkara furled line was developed to cast and fish in perfect balance with tenkara rods. We believe we achieved the perfect furled tenkara line with this one.

    Length:  9ft, 10ft. 6in or 13ft
Transition loop: Soft Spectra braid, 80lbs

A friend of mine turned me on to Tenkara. My first trip down to the river, in late September, some beautiful water and nothing…So I changed my fly to a little bumblebee looking fly and made a second pass.12 trout in about an hour and a half. What a blast! I’m hooked!

What I hate most about fly fishing is how much these fruity ass dick noses over complicate the activity. The prestige and pomp that’s attached has always been a huge turn off for me. I’m a spin casting stream fisherman. BUT! The portability, simplicity and practicality of a Tenkara rod is an unstoppable force that holds a place in my quiver till death. It’s affordable, simple, fixable, effective and the ultimate trout slayer on backpacking trips. Frick that fugazi ass swisherman clout.
Getting out and having fun Tenkara style is where it’s at!
