    Description:
Tenkara USA's furled tapered tenkara lines cast easily and with precision, cut through wind, and do not snarl when freed from a snag. These are the easiest lines to cast among our offerings.

Tapered tenkara lines come with a transition loop on the thicker end, which will be girth-hitched to the tip of the tenkara rod. For your convenience, a tippet ring has been added to the end of the line. Tenkara USA lines are hand-woven by expert line-makers in the United States.

Our Tenkara furled line was developed to cast and fish in perfect balance with tenkara rods. We believe we achieved the perfect furled tenkara line with this one.

    Length:  9ft, 10ft. 6in or 13ft

    Sierra Nevada rivers & streams

Was much nicer to cast than the nylon tapered line when the wind picked up a bit. Easy & accurate. No issues, had fun. I did enjoy the nylon line prior to the wind.

I like the tapers furled lines best of all lines I have tried. For me they are the easiest to cast, almost effortlessly, and the most accurate for fly placement. The other lines I have tried are the level lines and the nylon tapered lines. I’m sticking with the tapered furled line for now.

    Casts extremely well

After trying both the furled and nylon tapered line, the furled tapered line is definitely my favorite for tenkara fishing. I bought the longer length as a back-up and second option for larger streams. It casts very smoothly, even in windy conditions. The line color is nicely subdued, but still very visible. Unlike the nylon line, there is zero "memory" after the furled line comes off your spool. The quality of this product is great and agree with other reviews that this line is a game changer.
