    Description:
Tenkara USA's furled tapered tenkara lines cast easily and with precision, cut through wind, and do not snarl when freed from a snag. These are the easiest lines to cast among our offerings.

Tapered tenkara lines come with a transition loop on the thicker end, which will be girth-hitched to the tip of the tenkara rod. For your convenience, a tippet ring has been added to the end of the line. Tenkara USA lines are hand-woven by expert line-makers in the United States.

Our Tenkara furled line was developed to cast and fish in perfect balance with tenkara rods. We believe we achieved the perfect furled tenkara line with this one.

    Length:  9ft, 10ft. 6in or 13ft
Transition loop: Soft Spectra braid, 80lbs

    Streams and creeks

I prefer the furled lines over the monofilament versions.
I feel the monofilament lines have too much memory and remain "curled " when casting decressing my fishing range.
The furled lines seem to extend quickly to their maximum length.
Do you offer the furled material on a spool that I can make into my own lenghts?

I like using my tenkara gear to catch: Smaller size fish (say 8-12" / 20-30cm), Medium size fish (12-16" / 30-40cm), Trout
I like using my tenkara rod in: Larger streams or rivers
Smaller streams with fish between 8-14 inches

Perfect line for the Tenkara rod. If you’re buying a rod you need the line too!
