The universal rod cap is a perfect upgrade to the original plug that came with my Amago rod purchased 10 years ago. I had dropped the plug many times and fortunately was able to grab it in the water before it floated away…except the last time. I’ve fished a couple of times with the Keeper and it works great with my amazing Amago rod. Loose the plug, go with the Keeper.
