Description
The Akane Pulse is a jig-style kebari designed for fast-sinking performance and consistent hook-ups. Developed by Ryan Jordan, this pattern is built to reach deeper feeding zones quickly while maintaining a natural presentation.
An inverted tungsten bead allows the fly to sink efficiently while keeping the hook oriented for improved hook-ups. The combination of an orange silk body, CDC shuck, and soft hackle creates a balanced profile that imitates emerging insects while adding subtle visual attraction.
The hackle provides gentle pulsing movement, while the CDC shuck enhances realism, making this fly effective when fish are feeding below the surface. Whether drifted naturally or lightly manipulated, the Akane Pulse performs well across a range of water conditions.
