My lillian came off. I called customer support from the stream, and they had placed an order for replacement tip parts in less than 5 minutes. Plus, they told me how to do a quick fix to temporarily repair it so I could keep fishing. Super nice and great service!
It is difficult for me to order the replacement part. In the past I order successful the tip segment(top 3 segments)- the web site is not easy for us to pick which part! Today I just need the segment 7 (next to top 3 segment) for Amago- I already ordered and paid $17 but have no idea what part they will send to me.
I currently own 3 Amago rods and have given several new Amago rods as gifts to friends. I have fished only TenkaraUSA rods for about 9 years.
Received a new Hane rod as a gift, unfortunately, the second segment was broken. I emailed the warranty department and they did not reply. (I was surprised, usually, TenkaraUSA has excellent customer service.) So, I ordered a new tip set. It's annoying to have to buy a tip set for a new rod.
I had a rod failure landing a fish and Tenkara USA had me back on the water in about 2 days. Incredible service.
I almost didn’t even mess around with this because customer service experiences are usually really painful. After reading the reviews I figured I would give it a shot. Got a call back this morning and got the order taken care of over the phone in less than five minutes. Very pleasant customer service experience !
