Love this fly

Few things in life are as simple as the Ishigaki kebari. With just one feather and some thread wrapped around a hook, it's a true representation of how minimalist and simplistic tenkara is. This pattern has worked for me almost everywhere that I have fished it. It really surprised me one day when it fooled some very picky tailwater trout, that have probably seen more flies in their relatively short lives than most humans have in theirs. It just works. 5 out of 5 flies.
