Actually have not yet used the level lines I own, but am well aware of the successes my Japanese business colleagues have routinely with their level lines. I will be using mine this season.
This is a great rod that packs down small. I have caught several bluegill and crappie and they feel good on it. Still waiting to hookup with a largemouth.
do not use a size 8 more like a 22.

What happens if the tip breaks
I just got stared with tenkara. It does seem easier than using traditonal fly fishing rods and reels.
The replacement parts got me back in action quickly. The best thing about Tenkara rods is if something happens you don't have to replace the entire rod. I love these rods.

Fun rod I take it everywhere the only issue I find is stowing it can be a pain sometimes the rods don’t want to go down but that’s just how it’s gonna be
It has been too cold to test it out yet, and I’m waiting for the trout season to open up here in Northern Wisconsin but as soon as it does I will be wetting a line!

I like the leader. It’s easy to see. I tied a barrel knot per instructions at the terminal end of the leader, then a slip-knotted5x tippet. Worked fine, but am not a fan of the tag end catching on things. I like the small ring better, as it is on the braided leader.
