    Description:
Tenkara USA's furled tapered tenkara lines cast easily and with precision, cut through wind, and do not snarl when freed from a snag. These are the easiest lines to cast among our offerings.

Tapered tenkara lines come with a transition loop on the thicker end, which will be girth-hitched to the tip of the tenkara rod. For your convenience, a tippet ring has been added to the end of the line. Tenkara USA lines are hand-woven by expert line-makers in the United States.

Our Tenkara furled line was developed to cast and fish in perfect balance with tenkara rods. We believe we achieved the perfect furled tenkara line with this one.

    Length:  9ft, 10ft. 6in or 13ft

I like using my tenkara gear to catch: Smaller size fish (say 8-12" / 20-30cm), Trout
I like using my tenkara rod in: Very small streams, Mountain streams, Stillwater, Backpacking and remote waters
    alpine lakes, rivers and streams

Furled line is the way to go! It's not as prone to tangling. It's easy to work with, easy to attach to lillian, and easy to cast, especially in windy situations. My casts rolls out much nicer on the tapered line. I bought a second set of this line from TenkaraUSA. Very happy.

I like using my tenkara rod in: Very small streams, Stillwater, Backpacking and remote waters
Small ponds, creeks, streams, and lakes.

These lines are awesome for casting accurately. I just got them recently, and immediately took them out fishing. With the level line I was using previously, I sometimes struggled to cut through wind with small flies. The furled lines make it nice and easy! They also attach to your lillian super simply, and remove just as easy, making for a very modular system! I can have several lines tied with different fly patterns and change between them quickly. I'd definitely recommend these lines, they're worth every penny.

    Wherever I can.

I'm new to tenkara and was having trouble casting light level line. This line was just what I needed and got me great turnover and more precise casts to put my flies right in the fish's face.

Love it, casts great. I love how easy it is to hitch/un-hitch from the lilian.
