Very easy to learn. I am a beginner

I am a salt water fisherman for 60 years. I am now trying to learn fly fishing, so I purchased a tencara pole and after 1 hour practice I could put that fly anyplace I wanted. Great stuff.

small creeks and ponds...

First time and I did get a small trout….but I’ve got to practice starting this spring as winter is approaching fast…I only got to try it out on the last day of trout fishing in New Hampshire…and it was cold and windy…but I’m glad I did...

I fished with my Iwana for three times. It was fun, I was really starting to enjoy it. Then on the fourth time out my rod Jammed into the handle. I took on bottom screw out so I could nudge the rib loose. When I did it all shot out of the handle in pieces. I never found all the sections to the rod.
