Brittany Aäe is an endurance coach based in the Methow Valley of Washington State and has been tenkara fishing since 2014. Upon first ditching the reel, she naturally combined her mountain running practice with fishing at the alpine lakes near her home. For 2018, in partnership with the Okanogan National Forest, she will be the first and only guide anywhere to offer run-fish-run trips. Her guiding focuses on getting fishers dialed on thinking like a fish (reading the bugs and the water), using proper technique relevant to the conditions, and providing light run coaching on the trips to and from the lake. Check out her website to find out more and book your own running-accessed fishing trip in the numinous Okanogan.
