Tenkara Strap Pack
The perfect pack to fit your entire tenkara kit and realize how little you really need to fly fish. This pack can be clipped to your belt (or belt loop) or to the front straps of a backpack by using the clips on the back.
It will easily fit a fly box, a couple of spools of line, spool of tippet and forceps + nippers.
From Tenkara USA founder, Daniel: "I asked Chris Zimmer to make these for us as it is a great piece of gear. It took me a long time to find a minimalist pack I felt very comfortable with, but this was the piece of gear we could put the Tenkara USA logo on and feel proud of."
Dimensions: 6" x 4.5" x 2"

With 50+ years of fly fishing under my belt I know what it's like to carry a lot of gear for a day on the stream. What attracted me to tenkara was it's simplicity. "Just a rod, line and fly". Even so, you still need some to carry your necessities for a day on the stream. Sure you could carry a small box of flies, spool of tippet, nippers and forceps in your pockets and dig around when you needed something. But the Strap Pack makes it more convenient.
Besides being very well made it is incredibly light weight. Even when loaded I hardly notice that I am wearing it. It's a must have piece of gear for the minimalist tenkara fisher.
This is a perfect little pack for my small stream adventures. I have loved using it to hold tippet, nippers, and a small pack of flies. It’s all I need for many hours on the stream!
Like Daniel, I like to be a Tenkara minimalist. When I started Tenkara I picked up a small chest pack to hold my extra line, flies, forceps, snips, etc. I found that when I was doing hike fishing and bike fishing I wanted something that I could simply attached to my hydration pack, or when I was walking across the street from my house, I could just clip onto my belt loop. THIS IS PERFECT. Compact and lightweight, it has some external pockets for organization as well. I bought some short bungees online to hook into the loops on the bottom of this pouch to clip my snips, forceps, etc. too and stick into the external pockets. It's large enough to carry several extra spools and lines, fly box, tippet, etc. but still small enough to feel like you've got all the gear you need in a tiny pocket. Exactly what I was looking for.
